Healthy Aging, which focuses on adults 45+.
The goal is to improve your physical, mental, social, and financial well being.
Here are a few tips:
1. Do not act your age! That's right. Or at least what you think your current age should act like. It's not denial, it's positive thinking. You are what you think!
3. Stand up straight! You can knock off the appearance of a few extra years with this trick your mother kept trying to tell you! Stomach in? Shoulders back? Chin up? Fix your stance and practice it every day, all day until it is natural.
4. Start walking! Not only for your physical health, but mental as well. It helps combat depression. Get some fresh air often. Go check on your neighbors!
5. And of course. Get regular checkups; at least annually with your Primary Care Physician. Being proactive is always better than being reactive.
